Douglas E. Ede is a founding member of Salas, Ede, Peterson & Lage, L.L.C. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and has lived in South Florida since 1969. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida State University’s School of Business in 1984. In 1988 a Masters of Business Administration was conferred upon him from Barry University. Mr. Ede earned a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1988. Mr. Ede was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1988. He is admitted to practice in all federal courts in Florida and in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Douglas Ede was partner for Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell where his practice concentrated in commercial litigation, personal injury and admiralty. Mr. Ede was an associate attorney with Davis, Scott, Weber and Edwards prior to his partnership at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell. As a partner with Salas, Ede, Peterson and Lage, L.L.C., Mr. Ede continues to represent business entities and individuals in a variety of matters including complex commercial litigation, labor, personal injury and transactions.
